We are excited to announce that we have officially partnered with the Mission Agency Sepal.
Sepal (Serving Pastors and Leaders) is an international mission established in Brazil in 1963, a part of the OC Global Alliance. Their vision is to see a healthy church, that can take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world. As a ministry, it is committed to making an impact on leaders and churches, encouraging and challenging them to develop healthy ministries.
This partnership is an answer to prayer and the admission process has been a confirmation of God’s direction. Sepal will walk with us and add to our mobilization journey as we continue to serve the SM International Movement.
One of the many benefits is that donations, support and gifts can now also be sent through their website, including using a credit card, by clicking here.
What is coming next:
As you know, in the beginning of this year, we itinerantly set off to explore how to grow the youth mobilization movement and better assist our global teams. We wanted to be able to say “we are available!” and to do so, we had no base and traveled around as teams requested our help.
During our journey, we have been praying and looking for a strategic location directed by God, that would allow us to continue to serve the movement and also become a home for our family in the years to come.
After meeting with our team in Romania, an invitation was in place for us to consider the country as a base. Throughout the whole year we have prayed and explored this as a possibility as it seamed to fit all the characteristics we were looking for. In addition to it, it was even through the Romanian team that the partnership with Sepal became a reality.
And so, in 2025 we are planning to move to Romania by the second semester. There are a number of things that need to be in place for this to be a successful transition: all required documents, the approval of our Religious Visa, and our monthly financial support needs to grow in order to cover all costs (we are now at 50%). Please join us in prayer over this, and we will be sending more details on the next letters.
We are also overjoyed to announce that God has once again blessed our family! The little one is joining us by April 2025.
Vivi will love having a little brother or sister to join her in all the travel adventures!
We would really appreciate if you can pray for Noemi’s and the baby’s health. As well as for us as a family as we prepare for his/her arrival.
2025 is looking like quite the year for our family’s ministry!
In the first quarter, we expect to:
Attend an onboarding conference with Sepal in Atibaia - SP in January 13th-18th
Mentoring and Coaching of a young leader from Jordan for the Youth Mobilization sessions of the SM MENA Conference in February
Workgroup meetings with the SM Youth Forum
Mentoring and Coaching the SM National Team in Brazil (including training of 2 new members)
Translation of 3 SM Trainings into Portuguese for the teams in Brazil and Mozambique
Youth Mobilization workshop scheduled with teams from Latin America and Australia (February and March)
Collect and send in documents and letters for approval of Romanian Religious Visa
Visit partners and local churches in Brazil
Stay tuned for our prayer letters! We hope to share more details soon :)
Praise God for the partnership with Sepal. Pray for our connections and network within the agency and for God’s favor over all plans.
Pray for our time in Brazil (Dec - July 25): medical appointments, documentation, housing, and trainings with the Brazilian SM Team.
Continue to pray for Vivian's health and growth. And now for her little brother/sister joining soon!
Pray for our financial resources as we need to grow the monthly budget in order to cover the expenses next year. Pray for the partners who already walk with us in this faith journey, and for the ones who will join.
Pray for our transition to Romania. Pray for the team there who will be welcoming us, for the approval of the religious visa and for our traveling plans.
