Our Journey this far
From families of Christian tradition, our story with mobilization began in Brazil together with our involvement in Simply Mobilizing since we attended the Kairos Course. God has moved our hearts towards the missionary movement, and we understood he was calling us for the ministry of Mission Mobilization, that is, to work for the awakening of the Church to be effectively involved in the World Christian Movement.
At the end of Noemi's graduation in Nursing, in 2017, we got married and moved from Uberlândia-MG to Campinas-SP with the main goal of investing in Caleb's pastoral studies in the Southern Presbyterian Seminary, a course that lasted 4 years with one extra year for an internship in a local church.
We have been involved and developed several mobilizing projects during our time in Brazil. Our main initiatives involved the English-Portuguese translation of course materials, programs and training, mentoring and courses to support local churches. Since 2014, Youth Kairos (YK) has been one course closest to Noemi's heart as she partnered with the International Youth Mobilization Team of Coordinators and launched it in Brazil. We have helped YK launches in the US, Canada, Mexico, and a course in the Dominican Republic. In 2018, we participated in the Latin American Regional Conference in Mexico and Global Consultation in the Philippines, and organized courses and launches in Brazil at our First National Conference.
In 2019 we participated in the Global Consultation, the National Conference in Mexico, and mobilization Conferences in Brazil. In 2020-2021, during a very difficult and challenging pandemic time, we dedicated ourselves to administrative functions and training, helping run online courses in Brazil and internationally. Caleb graduated in Theology and Noemi in Teaching (Portuguese and English).
At the end of 2021, we accepted the invitation to serve full time the Simply Mobilizing International Team at its Center in Butuan City, southern Philippines, moving in the beginning of 2022.
