2025 started at full speed!
In January we attended the orientation week for new SEPAL missionaries and partners in Atibaia - SP. The 7 hour journey by car proved to be worth it from the first day.
It was such a special week getting to know new members, who are joining the agency with us, and also experienced leaders who showcased generosity and integrity as they shared their experiences with us.
We felt blessed to be able to start the year in this refreshing and encouraging way.
As more countries start to build momentum for youth mobilization, we have had the opportunity to offer training for the teams in Germany and Latvia.
It has been really exciting to see their creative translation solutions for the materials, and we were able to watch the promo video fully in German with AI dubbing.
We are looking forward to following up with them in the coming months as they trial courses and progress in translating.
Praise the Lord for the opportunities He has given Caleb to share in some local churches in our region. As he preaches and gives devotionals he is also finding space to share about our ministry and next steps.
Continue to pray with us for the development of these next steps as we prepare to welcome baby Eloise and relocate to Romania. Staying for a few more months in Brazil also means that some expenses increased as we had to rent a car and an apartment.
We praise the Lord because in one of our partner churches a couple of friends were able to rent us a simple furnished apartment at a reasonable price.
We celebrated Vivi’s birthday recently, and we can’t believe she is already 2! Vivi has been such a blessing to our lives and ministry. Wherever we go we are reminded of her easy-going nature and clear happiness in so many different situations.
Thank you for your constant prayers over our family. We are grateful that God has kept her safe and healthy through this first years of a full life on mission with Him.
We are also grateful for the opportunity to run the Youth Mobilization Workshop with 40 participants from Latin America on February 15th.
The materials were translated into Spanish by Mexican mobilizer Nico Matos, and the whole presentation and group activities were in Spanish. Even though Spanish is not our first (or second) language, we felt we could utilize our time together better if translation was not required.
Participants gave us a very positive feedback at the end. One wrote that he “found all the points excellent, but the generational panorama and characteristics of the Alpha generation specially were very fresh. Sharing in groups to exchange situations in each country has been very helpful and insightful.” Another one said she considers all countries should go through the materials “because we need to value our young people more, affirm them and help them see all the potential that exists in them to challenge them appropriately and inspire us to The Mission of GOD🙏”
Pray for our time in Brazil. We had to rent a car and an apartment while in the country and it has raised our expenses considerably.
Continue to pray for Vivian's health and growth. And now for her little sister Eloise joining soon!
Pray for a safe birth in April and for all the medical expenses. Noemi has been getting her pre-natal appointments and had to add physiotherapy sessions to her care.
Pray for the partners who already walk with us in this faith journey, and for the ones who will join. Pray for our financial support as we need to increase 30% by June before relocating to Romania.
Pray for our transition to Romania. Pray for the team there who will be welcoming us, for the approval of the religious visa and for our traveling plans.
